COCONUT GROVE RESIDENCE | Winner in Interior Design - Houses Built in the Floridian neighbourhood of Coconut Grove, this renovation project aimed to modernise this family compound dating back to 1925 while still preserving its key architectural features. Some of the notable additions made include a newly roofed courtyard that effortlessly invites natural light into the space; an all-new kitchen and breakfast nook; and an outdoor gazebo to enrich the quality of family life within the space. Bold Blues - House & Garden SA "We specially mix our own paint colours often using blues and blueish greens for our projects," says the team at Assure Interiors. "Blue and its many beautiful shades have become part of our signature palette as the colour is popular and goes beyond trends... The properties of blue change depending on the hue. We deploy shades of light blue in spaces where we want to create a restful sense of tranquillity such as in bedrooms. Dark colours are used more for accent and mood.
