The $15.5 Trillion Global Market by 2030 👀 A new report, Global Construction 2030, forecasts the volume of #construction output will grow by 85% to $15.5 Trillion worldwide by 2030. In particular, the U.S. construction market is set to grow faster than China - which has posted historic growths but slowed recently - over next 15 years (Source 1). Facing exponential predicted #growth, the construction industry is also experiencing a severe #laborshortage of more than half a million workers, leading to the highest rate of open positions ever recorded. Those who are filling these positions are often new entrants with little-to-no experience or safety training, inflating risk and increasing loss prevention challenges (Source 2). Contrast that with: the total U.S. construction spending (includes private and public residential and non-residential construction) last year reached an all-time high of $1.98 Trillion, up 7% from the prior year (U.S. Census Bureau). Taking all the data points together, it means there is a huge unmet demand of construction domestically and abroad. Given the immense size of the market, we are here to help accelerate building with #3Dprinting #robots. Even a small sliver of the trillion dollar market can make a big difference in the way that construction industry gets built. Apis Cors. Researching, designing, perfecting. The technology. The robot. His service bots. Material delivery and batch mixing. Dry, sealed, waterproof, integrated, silica dust suppression, mobile. Telescoping counterweighted robotic arm, self-leveling, paddle smoothers, mobility, quick two-person setup, strategic patents. One of the earliest excellent online educational training programs. Open to all! Construction 3D printing. Proof of concept. Being first. The biggest. Dubai. Early international recognition. Follow business plan. Offer grass roots investing to believers. Step-by-step demo home. All under a moniker nobody gets! Just some of the reasons my money's on "Apis Cors." Not an ape. Not a core muscle. A pioneering and growing concrete home printing company on the east coast. (Fla.) The Cheniuntai's vision for the future of 3DCP here in the States. My bet's with them. To win! As always, thanks for your tireless work Jarett!

Back and captioned by popular demand! ICYMI: We brought in experts from Leos Concrete and Good Boy General Contractors to talk about all things #grout 💦 🚧 This is after we've #3Dprinted the #walls, put in electrical outlets, spray foam, reinforcements, and passed inspections! We've shown video clips of #rebar installation in our previous update. Now it's time for grout that serves to reinforce walls 🏠 There's no need for knockouts / cutouts, which means a much cleaner and efficient process. Watch the full video to find out why "it's a contractor's dream" in their words. Plus, see cameos from scaffolding on wheels, truss, trailer pump, line pump from our partners. 👀 Thank you Ben and Josh for joining us and for your hard work with your crew 🙏 #3Dprinting #constructioninnovation

🎶 I spin my head right round right round 🎶 - Frank singing Flo Rida in Florida. Robots sing to themselves too, right? 🤖 This is an earlier footage of the model house under construction, filmed from the top of Mary, Apis Cor's 3D print material delivery system. 🛻 The walls are now fully #3Dprinted, along with interior finishes and decor. But it's still fun to see progress from the ground up! #3Dprinting #constructioninnovation

I spy a Frank! Do you see Frank? 🤖 👀 It always amazes people just how nimble and mobile our 3D printer is. The structure in this photo stands 32 feet tall! Yesterday, we posted about alternative uses for Apis Cor robots aside from housing, such as sea walls and noise barriers. This is made possible by the fact that Frank can be transported easily and work within the structure too. 🏗️ Cheers to leaving a small footprint but making a big impact! 💥 #3Dprinting #constructioninnovation

Frank is NOT a one trick robot 🤖 👀 Apis Cor’s market opportunities are broader than just housing. Because our robots are so mobile and agile, they can build additional structures including tilt walls, sea walls, and noise barrier walls. Frank can print walls of any length, and several of them working together could do it even faster! Frank can also handle tall structures such as when we successfully demonstrated with the world record building in Dubai (more to come on that!). Check out these market opportunities and applications: 🌊 Sea Walls: Due to rising ocean levels, the cost of building seawalls in the US could run to $416 billion — the same cost as the build-out of the entire national interstate highway system. By one estimate, it could cost $75 billion to raise and repair every existing wall in Florida by 2040. Many places are starting to pay: Staten Island in New York, for example, is planning a $615 million, five-mile seawall to withstand a 300-year storm. 🏢 Tilt Walls are used for large-scale commercial projects and military projects, and are very expensive due to transportation and installation. Tilt panels (walls) are typically 30 - 49 feet tall, which would translate to higher sales on material. 🔊 Highway Noise Barrier Walls: Current construction costs with traditional concrete average $51.61 per square foot. This translates into a fourteen-foot high wall (typical) costing about $3.9 million per mile. Apis Cor’s business model is built around supplying our proprietary 3D print materials, and that benefits from these bigger structures! #3Dprinting #constructioninnovation
