The American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) is a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit that inspires and supports a culture of American mountain craft. The AMGA is our nation's exclusive representative to the International Federation of Mountain Guides Association (IFMGA), the international governing body responsible for guiding standards and education around the world. Mission To inspire and support a culture of American mountain craft. We spent 40 years setting standards for American guiding instruction, protecting the guiding environment, and organizing a powerful, unified community of guides and clients. This collaboration aims to enhance our commitment to safety and excellence in mountain guiding and climbing instruction through Risk Management resources. The AMGA is dedicated to providing our members with the highest standards of training, certification, and professional development. Partnering with NOLS, known for their presence in wilderness skills, leadership, and risk management, will strengthen our efforts in promoting best practices and safety protocols within the guiding community.     Twiceme and American Mountain Guides Association extends partnership. 🟢 4600+ US mountain rescuers and guides will continue to learn about the benefits of Twiceme in rescue scenarios through our strategic partnership with AMGA. For 40 years, AMGA's been setting the standard for professional guides and climbing instructors in the United States. From aspiring guides and instructors to seasoned veterans, they are more than 4600+ members strong and counting. Many of the professionals part of AMGA also work within Search And Rescue (SAR). We're proud to be a partner with them and are looking forward to many more years!
