The Pittsburgh Architecture Foundation is launching the next class of the Leadership Institute! The purpose of the Leadership Institute is to explore and grow the potential, capacity, and skill set of those attending while making a positive change and impact as an individual, to their firms and offices, and at a community level. This year, we are offering the program to the broader AEC Community. Young leaders in the AEC professions will engage with each other and collaborate on real-world challenges, while learning valuable leadership skills. Classes will be held on the third Thursday in September, October, November, January, February, and March from 1:00pm – 5:00pm. The Pittsburgh Project Pipeline Summer Architecture camp is back, and for even longer than ever! Starting on Wednesday, 5/1, we will be accepting registrations for our FOUR day summer camp from August 1st to August 4th. If you are interested in joining us for an awesome exploration of what type of world the future holds for us, please mark your calendar and sign-up when registration is open. The camp is open to students in 6th - 12th grade, using hands-on activities that help teach fundamental principles of architecture and design. At the end of the weekend, we will honor all the hard work from the students by celebrating the projects and hosting an informal exhibition to hear and share the work with professionals, parents, and friends.
