AF Group and its affiliated brands became aware of a cyber security incident and upon discovery of unusual system activity – and out of an abundance of caution – we made the decision to shut down access to business systems. At the same time, we engaged forensics experts who, alongside our IT security team, began an investigation. During this process, our highest priority was to determine any impacts to our systems and data and the investigation has confirmed no customer data has been impacted or taken by an unauthorized party. As our independent forensics investigation concludes and system restoration process continues, we are thoroughly examining and modernizing our digital infrastructure to bring systems up safely and securely. Our best estimate for restoration is early August. Until this is complete, we will continue to offer critical services, including policy issuance, reporting and payment of claims, and response to customer inquiries – and we will enhance these services until we reach restoration. She also enjoys officiating soccer, the Upper Peninsula and spending time with friends and family. Denise Quinn is a senior at Michigan State University majoring in human development and family studies. Outside of work she enjoys painting, reading and crocheting.

Outside of work she enjoys the outdoors, hiking, sports and spending time with family. Anthony Edgar (Actuarial and Data Science) is a master’s student at Michigan State University studying business data science and analytics. He also enjoys playing guitar, weightlifting and listening to music in his free time. Richa Shah (Executive Office and Strategy) is a sophomore in the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and is majoring in business administration. She enjoys reading, dancing, playing tennis and going for long walks.
