Are you a designated Laser Safety Officer? A Laser Safety Officer (LSO) is required when using a hazardous laser system on human tissue. This includes medical laser systems used for surgical, aesthetic, or therapeutic procedures performed in hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, medical spas, and eye clinics, if you were appointed to be the LSO in your medical facility, this course will cover the topics necessary to fulfill the requirements according to the American National Standard for Safe Use of Lasers in Health Care standard. The program will then review how various types of laser light affect different biological tissue including the skin and eyes.
