Vericon Construction was recognized for our Outstanding Safety Record in 2023 from both Associated General Contractors of America and Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey! I was proud to accept our awards at the annual ACCNJ Safety Awards with our General Superintendent, Ken Hilarczyk. We were awarded the Certificate of Commendation for Excellent Safety Record 2023 from AGC and the certificate recognizing Zero Lost Workdays from ACCNJ. I have learned an incredible amount about safety in the construction industry over the last 11 months working alongside David Mellett, STS-C and Brian Besser, STS-C. Last Tuesday, ACCNJ conducted two informative sessions for members on the NJ Wage Hub, with NJDOL Commissioner Rob Asaro-Angelo and his team providing guidance to ensure our members are well-prepared. As a reminder, effective August 15, 2024, contractors performing public work for schools and local governments are required to report certified payroll records via the online NJ Wage Hub portal.
