Thank you to everyone who attended last month’s “Summer Soiree” Doubleheader event at Newport Beach Country Club, hosted by Knobbe Martens in partnership with ACC Southern California (Association of Corporate Counsel).   Jessica Sganga served as MC and hosted the event. Brandon Smith moderated an engaging discussion with Avraham "Avi" Schwartz of Edwards Lifesciences and Brendan Sheehey of The Honest Company on using IP as a sword and shield. ACC Southern CA Chapter members volunteered at the Special Olympics Southern California (SOSC) Summer Games Championship at Cal State Long Beach. At the Games, SOSC athletes competed in athletics (track and field), basketball, bocce, flag football, swimming, Unified Bocce, and Unified Flag Football. Thank you to ACC member Hashem Karoum and ACC Executive Director Betty St Marie for coordinating this event, and to members Rashmi Gupta and Jessica Gillette who also brought their family members to volunteer.
