Not all study guides are the same. Here are 3 things your study guide needs so you can pass your teacher certification exam: 1. It needs to be 100% test aligned. Make sure it covers ALL of the exam competencies and standards, not just some of them. 2. It needs to be personalized to fit YOUR needs. Everyone is going to begin with different strengths and weaknesses. Therefore, everyone's starting point is going to be different. Find a study guide that is going to prioritize YOUR areas of needs. (Just like how teaches specialize lessons for the students in their classroom!) 3. It needs to be the best fit for YOUR learning style. Teachers know their students all have different learning styles. This doesn't change just because you're an adult now. Testbooks might work for one person but they might not work best for you. Videos might be what someone needs, but it's not the best way for you to learn. Find a study guide that is going to cater to YOUR learning style or one that offers multiple ways to learn.
