I agree. However, sometimes the data gives you the technical side needed. But it does not replace the old fashion in person, face to face, contact with them. Get to know your customers. Their likes, their dislikes, retiree’s? Big/small family? Do they live in one area vs multiple places? Are they snow birds? If they RV then gifts that fit in their RV works perfectly.

As you begin to deliver the omni-channel approach, you need to ensure closely monitor the data. For example, if you are driving people to your website to take some sort of action, find out who is coming to your website? Where are they coming from? Did they find you directly, through social media (organic) or paid digital ads? Based on that information, which channels are bringing you the most qualified leads ... leads who are actually converting. This will allow you to continue to optimize strengths, redirect where you find a weakness and continually learn how your target audience evolves.
