When getting started with content creation, decide what you'd like to do and just get started. There's no right or wrong time. Draw that roadmap, write that article, shoot that video, type out that post or create that channel. There are so many tools to help with simplifying the processes like Canva for easy designing, Grammarly for better sentence structure, ChatGPT to help with prompts, platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn & X to find your audience. And consistency is key!

As a marketing "army of one," I cut my teeth in the Adobe suite and Microsoft Office. Customer Nurture - What can we say in 3-5 scheduled emails to turn potential buyers into loyal returning customers? 3. Return to Cart - How can we direct the potential customer back to their cart to finish the purchase without coming off as "pushy"?

It’s one of the best platforms I’ve ever come across, you can connect multiple data sources and it gives you results in real time. Perfect for ads across Google, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter & LinkedIn. You can also create reports on the platform to send to your clients and it generates a dashboard link that clients can track in real time.

Companies use multi-varied social media platforms especially B2C as compared to B2B. That is when the social media marketing tools like Hootsuite, HubSpot come in critically to schedule your posts on all the social media platforms, do social media monitoring and listening by responding to followers' comments/messages, collaborating with your teams and connect with other tools and platforms too. Analytics and deeper insights are also available to derive the KPI and performance of your social media marketing posts and campaigns.

WeChat is the most important social media channel in China. I highly recommend WeChat index which could measure company or product exposure and influence across entire WeChat ecosystem.

Here, I'll let you know the top 3 things that one should focus in Google analytics. 1. While there are several excellent project management tools out there, ClickUp has stood out for me in terms of its versatility and user-friendly features. the most important part for me is that, you are going to be managing projects at the same time, but it is very likely that these projects have specific characteristics, so you will need to tailor your space to each project. Yes, you can tailor your project around the tool you use, however, I could see how doing it the other way around helped me to save up to 40% of time while completing the tasks successfully. I always advise: - dedicate a good time to set the space to what the project requires - review and adjust - explore integrations -> will help you save admin time

Project management tools are absolutely critical for product marketers. When picking the "right" project management tool, it's important for product marketers to consider what other tools each team in GTM is using. For example Product may be using JIRA and CS might be using Asana. Be thoughtful about how you interact with GTM teams and who you really need to collaborate with and who is really more of a reviewer or influencer. If the product marketing team is large enough to have its own system, however, there are new platforms like Ignition that are focused on PMMs.

I have found Notion to be the perfect tool for Project Management. It allows you to collaborate with peers and also has improved its notification system so that you can track the progress of each stage of the project. In the end, there are plenty of tools out there for Project Management, but I believe trusting in a single one for almost anything you may need can help make your life easier. There are also tons of templates to help you get started in no time.

Given the need for product marketers to work cross-departmentally, I believe it's of utmost importance to build a project management culture within product marketing. In other words, visibility into initiatives being executed on, stage of execution, backlog of requests and key stakeholders tied to delivery. Additionally, product marketers need to show value and keeping a backlog of requests will support resourcing discussions.

Trying to do product marketing without project management tools is like trying to row a boat without any oars. You're not going to get very far with everyone hand-paddling in the water. Product marketing is in the unique position of working across sales, customer success, product, and marketing. Everyone needs information from everyone else to be effective. Everyone needs to know what they need to do, and when. Trying to do all of that in Slack is... well, it would be a learning experience, that's for sure.
