You need to continuously provide good services and update your clients with live market info and do beyond placement. Pros: - Referred by close connections, more reliable and can save more time on trust gaining &price negotiation stage. - Less effort in hunting new leads. What you need to do is focus on farming your current clients. Suggestion: If you are a new firm or small firm which wants to grow rapidly, you can't solely rely on referrals only as it might take time for u to gain your existing clients' trust before they do the referral. You might need to do some action which is more aggressive while getting referrals.

Referrals are amazing, but only few companies really incentivize correctly. You really need to give your top reps benefits if you want them to recommend their friends and other top performers. Give them bonuses, holidays, etc... Also if referred people have a higher chance in staying longer and are up to speed more quickly. Additionally if you have a friend at work people tend to stay longer.

Building an audience where candidates spend time is key. Whether it be building an audience on LinkedIn, creating content on Youtube, sharing insights in an email newsletter, sharing valuable content is a super easy way to build an audience.

We have found that LinkedIn has been better for us for the quality of both referrers and prospects that we have been dealing with.

Some job boards are charging high and this also serves as a filter on the client lists. The clients on the paid platform are more urgent and willing to pay to get the right talent. We could have a higher chance to reach out to our targeted audience rather than calling the Yellow Pages from page 1.

Because of the management element of our service, a more personal approach has been more successful than mass emails to potential candidates or prospects. A more tedious approach but far more effecive when it comes to building a relationship.

CRM notes are your friend. While a candidate might not align with the current position you're working on, maintaining detailed notes allows you to reconnect with them later, and enables you to quickly recall details about their specific skills/interests.

My POV is Tool + Training + Policy = Success CRM+ATS could be very powerful when we combine them and using them correctly. However, the company needs to train and ensure the recruiters to wisely utilise them. We need the recruiters or AI to feed the correct data into the system, let the recruiters know WHY are we doing these and make sure they are doing right. I have seen some recruitment firms using promising tools like Salesforce or Bullhorn but the recruiters were not trained in using them. Some of the recruiters dont even know why they should use these. The tools end up becoming the sales record system instead. That is very wasted.

Once you have outlined your sources, the next step is always to create a process of how and when to use each in order to maximize your results. A great process will eliminate some of the brainpower and allow you to use that same effort into executing rather than figuring out how you are going to do it next.
