The leader will then get the best from those influenced and or inspired, while being in the position to satisfy the needs and further encourage those who have the opportunity to utilize their insights and or skills FOR A PURPOSE. Also understand leadership works from the home to the throne, from a nation's capitol to its streets.

Being in digital commerce naturally involves continuous learning. Whether it's new technology, innovative practices, or evolving customer expectations, there's always something new to keep up with. Staying current with market trends and understanding customers' needs are crucial—both for the success of your business and for customer. I love to learn about new trends and industry updates by attending conferences/webinars and networking events. I also enjoy challenging my perspective by collaborating with a diverse group of people who bring different backgrounds and ideas to the table. I love the "ah ha" moment when something is shared and I think "I never thought of it that way!"

Having worked on many leadership development programs, I've seen numerous companies overpromise and underdeliver with these opportunities. They often promise their leaders that they are "on a track towards a leadership promotion." However, in reality, the company is sometimes seeking to gain free labor by having these leaders identify business gaps and then take credit for the work. Be cautious when engaging in something like this, and do not expect a promotion as a guaranteed outcome, because it may not happen.

People avoid reflecting because they dont know what to think about. If you have a plan then thinking about thinking is easier. I use four questions which I can consider when out walking, doing the dishes - anywhere. What happened and why in that way? How did I think, feel and respond? What have I learned? What will I change next time?

All individuals play a leadership role and also a followership role. These roles can be played concurrently. For example, a CEO of a prestigious business goes for worship at a church, a mosque, a synagogue, or a temple. We all know that CEOs have a prominent leadership role in their organizations but when they go for worship they follow their religious leaders. Second, life itself provides endless opportunities to practice and play these two roles. Leadership experience is not restricted to a designated job or position.
