  • The Eclipse over Texas Live from Waco event will be held on April 8 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the grounds of McLane Stadium. General admission fees are $20 for adults, $10 for anyone ages 5-17 and free for anyone under ages 4 and under.
  • The Waco Symphony Orchestra will perform the “Sci-Fi Spectacular: Sun, Moon, & Superstars” on April 7 to get generate excitement the day before the eclipse. Attendees will hear music from ranging from movies like Star Wars and Star Trek to Interstellar. ticket prices can be ordered online and range from $19 up to $69 depending on location in the theater.

KILLEEN, Texas

  • The E-Center in Killeen will host a Total Eclipse Balloon Experience from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. each day starting on April 4 until April 8. Attendees will be able to experience a space themes balloon display. The event will also have other activates like face painting, a photo both and food trucks. Tickets are $12 if bought in advanced online and $15 at the door.
  • The Central Texas College Fine Arts Department will hold a guest artists’ concert ahead of the total solar eclipse on April 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Anderson Student Center at CTC. Tickets are free for anyone younger than 12-years-old and $5 for everyone else.

HILLSBORO, Texas

  • A viewing for the eclipse will take place at the Hillsboro Park on April 8. Residents can pay $50 to make a reservation at the park that will allow up to 8 people and one vehicle.
  • The Cosmic Cowboy Eclipse Festival is a county music festival that takes place during the eclipse from April 5 until April 8. Single day tickets are available for April 5 through April 7 and cost $75 and tickets for April 8 cost $20. Tickets for access to all four days cost $190.

WHITNEY, Texas

  • The White Bluff Resort in Whitney is holding a three day “Eclipsefest” event starting on April 6 at 7 a.m. and ending on April 8 at 2:30 p.m. Registration for each day’s events will open soon and rooms are available to rent now starting from $250.
