Killeen police investigate fatal early-morning crash

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - The Killeen Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle crash that left a man dead early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to the crash on the 5600 block of E Central Texas Expressway, near Seton Medical Center, around 4 a.m. Saturday.
Based on the preliminary investigation, officers suspect that the driver, 31, steered his red Pontiac sedan off the roadway at a high speed, causing the vehicle to roll multiple times.
The driver was pronounced dead shortly after police arrived.
Officers are working to notify family right now; the driver’s name has not been released.
