Fourth victim comes forward after massage parlor owner charged in indecent assault case, Belton police say

BELTON, Texas (KWTX) - Belton police on Tuesday, July 2, arrested DeMarr Lowe Thomas, owner of The Retreat Therapeutic Massage in Belton, on a charge of indecent assault.

The assault happened in late June 2024 while Lowe was giving a massage at his business, police said, adding, “This is the third separate victim to come forward.”

Thomas had been previously arrested for sexual assault at the same business in Sept. 2022 after the first victim came forward and reported the incident, police said.

Once the initial incident was reported by local news outlets, a second victim came forward and a second warrant was issued for indecent assault, police said.

Thomas was out on bond after the first two cases at the time of the third assault, police said.

Belton police say a fourth victim has come forward and a warrant was issued for another indecent assault charge for Thomas.

Thomas was arrested Tuesday morning by Killeen police, and he bonded out Tuesday afternoon, Belton police say.
