Escaped TDCJ inmate recaptured, shot in the arm
BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) - UPDATE: The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) said escaped inmate Kidanny Robles was recaptured by staff approximately three miles away from the unit.
After refusing orders to stop, Robles continued to flee and was shot in the arm by a TDCJ captain, the agency said.
No further information was provided.

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is searching for Kidanny Robles, 33, an inmate who escaped from the Clemens Unit trusty camp in Angleton, Texas.
Robles was determined to be missing from the facility during the routine count at midnight on Sunday, June 23.
