WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A Waco woman was arrested after she choked her boyfriend and stabbed him with a screwdriver, an affidavit alleges.

Jameshia Hall was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.

On June 18, police were sent to the 5100 block of Hawthorne Drive on reports of a domestic disturbance.

According to the affidavit, call notes showed that Hall and her boyfriend got into an altercation and that she choked and stabbed him.

When police arrived on scene, the affidavit states the boyfriend told police that Hall left the scene and he believed she was going back to her residence.

While speaking with the boyfriend, the affidavit states police noticed a cut on his neck and a red scratch mark near his collarbone. The boyfriend said believes he was struck by a screwdriver.

The boyfriend said during the argument with Hall, she forced him out of his apartment by dragging him by his shirt, according to the affidavit.

Their argument continued outside the apartment complex and the boyfriend began recording the incident.

The affidavit states video can be seen on the boyfriend’s phone showing Hall standing in front of him holding an object in her hand.

In the video, the boyfriend can be heard asking Hall “Are you going to stab me?” to which Hall responds, " I sure the (expletive) will,” multiple times, the affidavit alleges.

The camera then moves as if the boyfriend was attempting to block or avoid something and he can then be heard saying “You just stabbed me,” the affidavit states.

Officers went to Hall’s residence and found her vehicle at the scene.

Hall told police that she was holding a screwdriver in her hand to try and unlock her car, the affidavit states.

Hall was subsequently booked into the McLennan County Jail.
