“Pull up”: Woman stabbed after she agreed to street fight; attacker charged, police say

LACY LAKEVIEW, Texas (KWTX) - Una Watkins, 40, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after she stabbed another woman during a street fight in the middle of the road, a criminal complaint affidavit states.

The attack happened June 17. The exact location was not provided in the complaint.

According to the document, Watkins and the victim agreed to engage in a physical altercation in the roadway in front of Watkins’ residence.

Watkins provided the victim her address and instructed her to “pull up,” the complaint states.

The victim arrived at Watkins’ residence and the two women got into a fight in the middle of the roadway, the complaint alleges, adding Watkins eventually pulled out a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim multiple times.

A friend of the victim drove her to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment, the documents state.

The victim suffered stabbing wounds to the left side of her torso, her left thigh, and a laceration on her thumb and left hand.

Watkins remained jailed in McLennan County the afternoon of June 21. Her bond had not yet been set at the time.
