WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A Waco teen was arrested after threatening his landlord with a knife and claiming they trained dogs to be racist and attack him, an affidavit alleges.

Christhian Barrios Grijalva, 17, is charged aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

On June 19, 2024, police were sent to a disturbance call in the 2300 block of Sanger Avenue.

When police arrived, they met with the victim who said Grijalva rents a room from him, and he found Grijalva urinating on the side of the house, the affidavit states.

The victim said he confronted Grijalva, prompting Grijalva to pull out a long kitchen knife and threatening to stab the victim, the affidavit alleges.

Following this, police found Grijalva inside the home where he admitted to pulling a knife on the victim, but claimed he did it because the victim trained his dogs to be racist and attack him, according to the affidavit.

Grijalva was subsequently arrested and is being held in the McLennan County Jail on bonds totaling $15,000.
