As the final bells ring, school lets out, summer vacation is upon us and you know what that means. THATS RIGHT! TEMPERATURES TO RIVAL THE SURFACE OF THE SUN, HURRICANES AND WILD FIRES GALORE. So why bother with any of that when you can take a virtual trip to one of dozens of new video games coming out in June. Tour a galaxy far far away or dip your toes into the murky depths of the sea or heck even hop on your old, tarnished steed and head into somewhere comfy and familiar. Allow me to be your travel agent for the summer with these 5 destination vacation video games in your June edition of The Download.

1.Destiny 2: The Final Shape

How about we start in the beautiful sci-fi hot-spot of Destiny 2? Stop by the Sol system. Meet some of the friendly locals, see the big white ord. Enter the white ord. Yes, Since 2015′s Destiny, Guardians the universe over have been fighting the growing vague forces of the Darkness. We’ve won many fights. Defeated Eldrich gods. Lost friends and made new ones. Risen to every challenge until... We lost our Traveler. Our biggest threat yet comes in the form of the Witness and his Final Shape. Now the light and dark saga ends. 2. Star Wars: Hunters

Not interested in giant glowing white spheres? How about a cruise on The Hutts ship? Star Wars Hunters is just the game for you! Join a group of hunters and battle in small arenas of 4 v 4 matches. From Jedi to bounty hunters, the roster is stacked with famous aliens and roles from everyone’s favorite galaxy far far away. Join the fray when the free to play Star Wars Hunters launches June 4th on Nintendo Switch and Mobile platforms.

3. Still Wakes the Deep

Not in the mood for all that laser fire and combat? How about we head off-shore somewhere nice and rainy. . Deep in the frosty North Sea, you are an oil rig worker, sent off the coast of Scotland to work an old oil rig. Surviving disastrous storms, deadly conditions and striving to hold together your crew as the very structure around you collapses. You must strive to save your team against all odds and an encroaching otherworldly force. Enjoy this coastal vacation experience when Still Wakes the Deep launches June 18th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X and PC.

4. Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree:

Rise Tarnished, once again. Elden Ring players can venture back into the gothic lands, going beyond the games original Land Between to discover an sprawling all new world of The Land of Shadow. See the devastating flames, meet the lovely locals and take in all new wonderous sites. Discover countless new weapons, equipment, skills and magic to deepen your rpg adventure. Players will be able to seamlessly travel back and forth between the bast maps interspersed with diverse encounters and some dangerously menacing dungeons. Unravel the complex lore of these strange new lands when Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree blazes to life June 21st on Ps4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and PC

5. Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD

If ancient wars and secrets aren’t your thing, then how about something a little...spookier? Why not return to Luigi’s Haunted mansion with Luigi’s Mansion 2. A full HD remaster for the Switch, featuring updated controls, remastered sound and the full games goofy aesthetic. Tackle the removal of ghosts with string bean of the Mario Bros, Luigi. Get a little early spoop with Luigi’s Mansion 2 jump scares your Nintendo Switch on June 27th.
