Loving couple gives little piece of their hearts to those in need
TEMPLE, Texas - This week’s Be Remarkable takes us out to Temple, where a loving couple gives a little piece of their hearts to seemingly anyone who needs the love.
“Well, they give back to the community constantly.”
Patty and Geno Pitts are always in action. And that action takes them outside of themselves, in favor of shining a light onto others.
“There was an acquaintance in need of a refrigerator because she didn’t have anything, so they just go to Lowes and buy the refrigerator. But I was just like, you know, they saw the need,” Franny Judice, Nominator.
The Pitts’ also get involved in giving back to the community, through giving to and volunteering at Heart and Hands food bank and thrift store in Salado. They also travel to Galveston to help children in need there or cooking for area high school students and they do it all the time!
“We have a unique opportunity to use our talents and gifts and do that to maybe help other people in the community and show them the love that we’ve been shown,” Patty and Geno Pitts, Be Remarkable Winners.

And you guys have embodied that with the way that you just selflessly give up your time and your resources and just pour back into people.
