Mr. Michael Wayne Williams passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 2:00PM - 3:30PM at Living Word C.O.G.I.C, Waco, TX. Visitation will be held Friday, March 29th from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home, Marlin, Texas.

Michael was born to the late Robert Lee Williams, Sr., and Ora Vivian Gray in Galveston, Texas. Michael was a 1972 graduate of Hitchcock ISD. He attended Texas State Technical College (formerly TSTI) and graduated with a certificate in Printing and Reproduction.

He went on to join the United States Army in November of 1975 proudly serving four years in Korea and Germany. After the Army, he took Real Estate courses at McLennan Community College.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, P.W. and Amanda Waddles, Almetta and Frank Lee and Timothy Williams (Crane), parents, Ora and Emile Gray and Robert Lee Williams, Sr., siblings, Claudis Leon Bennett, Emile Gray, Jr., Robert Lee Williams, Jr., Edward Frank Gray, and Robbie Lynn Williams Asberry.

He leaves to cherish his memory, former ex-wife, Mattie Mae Moore Williams, two daughters, LaMecha Negelle Robertson of Longview TX and Shala Dionne Williams of Waco, TX; one brother, Rev. Clarence Gray (Tifanny) of Hitchcock, TX; one sister, Rhonda Williams Thornton of Houston, TX; one grandson, Suten Micha’el Mando Bey, one sister-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives
