HILLSBORO, Texas (KWTX) - The Boys & Girls Club of Hill County are drawing and painting their best creations on giant eclipse glasses, which will be featured at upcoming total solar eclipse events in Hillsboro.

The glasses are described as a ‘giant coloring book,’ featuring flowers, fruits and sports.

In the art room, kids draw and paint listening to calming piano music. The goal is for them to feature their artistic abilities but also focus on emotional learning.

The glasses will be featured at one of the upcoming solar eclipse events, allowing a colorful, themed decoration and backdrop for photos.

“We’re working hard on that program,” Justin Derington, the CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Hill County, said. “We’re super proud of these kids and think they are going to do amazing things.”
