Student-led clubs are an integral part of the University learning process. The academic experience is enriched by participation in extracurricular activities that allow students to pursue their personal interests beyond the classroom. Whether it is arts, science, culture, history or social, there is always a place for all students’ interests.
In addition to the groups working with the Student Services Office, the College of Engineering supports a number of discipline-based student professional chapters. These are connected to the various academic programs and offer a number of opportunities for students to be involved in their activities or participate in professional events.
The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club is a fantastic place for individuals interested in developing their ideas and turning them into successful ventures. In this club, you can learn from experts in the field, exchange ideas with like-minded members, and work on implementing innovative projects. The Motorsports club provides a platform for automotive passion. Members can hone their talents through weekly sim-racing training, watch parties and other activities. We aim to develop members’ technical knowledge by publishing informative pamphlets/newsletters, and hosting STEM events. We also challenge participants to solve problems related to the field through hackathons. This would not only give the students exposure towards the laws of math and physics, but will also add a layer of innovation, critical thinking, and fun to their learning pattern.

The Earth and Space club is an affiliation of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) student chapter at Khalifa University, under the department of Earth sciences, along side the two newly opened chapters, The European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) and Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG). Rattel in English which means recite, is a female only Ritl Club for interested students to recite and memorize the Quran together. The students joining the Club will be motivated to learn the Quran, develop Quaranic skills and extend their Islamic knowledge.
