LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - UPDATE: Lufkin Police & Fire non-emergency lines are back in service.

Authorities in Lufkin have announced that their non-emergency lines are currently down this Monday morning.
According to Jessica Pebsworth, PIO for the Lufkin Police Department, all non-emergency caller lines are out of service. Pebsworth states that all non-emergency issues will need to be communicated via the 911 phone line. The cause of the outage was not reported.
Authorities will notify the public when the non-emergency lines are back in service.
