Missing Oregon teen found

DOUGLAS COUNTY Ore. (KPTV) - Police located a missing teen Tuesday at about 3:40 p.m., several hours after he had gone missing.

A detective was able to find the Ford F250 pickup that the missing teen had been driving, it was between the Walmart and Auto Zone in Cottage Grove. Shortly after police found the car, the teen was dropped off at his home by a Seattle-area couple, where he was reunited with his family.

The 16-year-old has high-functioning autism and was considered in danger when he went missing.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the teen had left his home Tuesday morning on foot and had been last seen at a rest stop at about noon.
