Police: Man stabs, kills woman then tries to stab himself in Vancouver

VANCOUVER Wash. (KPTV) - A woman is dead and a man is hospitalized after police say the man attacked the woman with a knife in Vancouver on Sunday, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
Shortly before 8 p.m., police responded to a disturbance in the 1000 block of Southeast 160th Avenue. Callers told police that a man stabbed a woman and then himself.

Officers gave medical aid to both people when they arrived, but the woman was declared dead at the scene. The man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police said the man and the woman knew each other and they were not looking for any other suspects at this time.
No more information will be released at this time, police said.
