Man rescued from Willamette River after jumping from sea wall

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Portland Fire responded to the scene of a potential drowning after a man jumped from the sea wall near the Burnside Bridge at approximately 1 p.m. on Friday, July 5.
After the individual jumped, a nearby boat noticed a man in the water in distress and called officials.

Portland Fire arrived on the scene to where the individual had been given a lifejacket and were then able to rescue him via a Portland Fire boat and transport him safely back to shore.
