COWLITZ COUNTY Wash. (KPTV) - Authorities released a forensic artist sketch and asked for help identifying the remains of a man found in 2021 in Cowlitz County, the coroner’s office said on Monday.

According to the coroner, the skeletal remains of a person they determined to be a young man was discovered in a wooded area outside of Cougar, Wash.

On June 30, a forensic artist made a sketch of what the man might have looked like. Authorities warned that the sketch may not look exactly right, and all coloring decisions were artistic guesses, along with the length and color of his hair, and the shape and size of his lips.
