Multiple cats rescued from burning home in Kelso

KELSO, Wash. (KPTV) - A fire damaged a home in Kelso on Wednesday afternoon.
Just after 3 p.m., Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue crews were called out to a fire on Parker Place in Kelso. Crews arrived to the scene and found a two-story house with fire in the garage and exposing out of the front windows.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire. During a search of their home, crews found multiple cats and safely removed them.

Officials say the cause is under investigation.
