Chiles, who grew up in Tualatin, took her talents to the University of California Los Angeles for her collegiate career. Chiles brought home a silver medal with team U.S.A in the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, and most recently helped the U.S. bring home Gold from the 2022 World Championships.

Carey, originally from Phoenix, Arizona, has garnered local support as a member of the OSU women’s gymnastics team as she enters her second Olympic Games. Casey brought home Gold in floor exercise from the 2020 Games, and is looking to add to her decorated resume at this year’s games.

The Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games is set to take place July 26, with the gymnastics portion of the games to begin July 27. The competition for Chiles and Carey will run through August 5.
