CareOregon Starlight Parade: Watch LIVE

The Starlight Parade begins Saturday, June 1 at 8 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. Before that is the 3.1-mile Starlight Run which follows the same route as the parade, starting and finishing on Naito Parkway at Rose Festival CityFair.

The 47th annual run will start at 6:30 p.m. with the traditional costume contest held at 5:30 p.m. Learn more and register for the run here.

Starting at 9 p.m., you can watch from your couch by streaming the live parade on our website here.

There’s a chance of some light sprinkles at 8 p.m.

Street closures Saturday:

All lanes of Southwest Naito Parkway will be closed from Southwest Jefferson Street to Northwest Everett Street starting at 1 p.m. and will remain closed until the end of the Starlight Parade.

The Morrison Bridge westbound (driving toward downtown) will close at 4 p.m. and remain closed until the Starlight Parade ends. Access to the Morrison Bridge from the I-5 Southbound ramp will remain open.

All other streets on the Starlight Parade route will also close at 4 p.m. and remain closed until the end of the parade. The parade route area is from Northwest Couch Street along the north to Southwest Naito Parkway along the east, Southwest Main Street along the south and ending in the Southwest 14th Avenue area to the west.

West Burnside will be closed between Northwest Park Avuene and Naito Parkway.

SW and NW Broadway will be closed between SW Main and NW Couch.

SW Alder and Washington will remain open to traffic from 14th to SW Park.

Fred Meyer Junior Parade

The Junior Parade is Wednesday, June 5 at 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The Junior Parade begins at Northeast Sandy Boulevard and Northeast 52nd Avenue and travels down Sandy Boulevard for one mile, then turns north onto Northeast 40th Avenue, then west onto Northeast Tillamook to end at Grant High School.

Road closures, with local access to areas around the edges:

From Sandy Boulevard and Brazee Street along the north, down to NE Halsey Street at the south and Grant High School to the west.
