Rose Festival names 2024 princess from La Salle Catholic College Prepatory

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Cadence Wooden, a Senior from La Salle Catholic College Preparatory representing Metro East, has long cherished the dream of becoming a Rose Festival Court Princess and aspires to honor her family values and legacy.

“I aim to honor these legacies by contributing positively, leading with compassion, and emulating the role model my mom and papa represent.”

Looking ahead to the Portland Rose Festival, Cadence looks forward to the Grand Floral Parade.

“The Grand Floral Parade hands down is my favorite event. I love this parade because of the family tradition we have where we get up super early to save our seats on the bridge and then send someone off to get warm drinks and breakfast.”
