SEATTLE — Thank you for joining forces with KOMO 4 and USO Northwest for our inaugural KOMO Military Appreciation Drive.

Together KOMO viewers and sponsors generated more than $25,000 in donations and truckloads of supplies and snacks that will be made into travel kits and care packages. Your donations will help USO Northwest support our dedicated military service members and families.

The USO is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the well-being for people serving in America's military and their families.

USO volunteers are the heart of the organization, they help deliver critical programs and services from the moment they join, through their assignments and deployments.

Here's how you can be part of the KOMO Military Appreciation Drive:

• Click here to sign up to volunteer at any USO location.
• Drop supplies for care packages and travel kits with suggested items to any Titus-Will Auto Group dealership.

There are some suggested items you can donate, including individual bags of store bought chips/pretzels, granola or other type bars, jerky, cookies and bottles of water.
