MSHP: Fatal motorcycle accident in Pike County Thursday evening

PIKE COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol is reporting a fatal motorcycle accident in Pike County during the evening hours of July 4.
According to MSHP, the crash happened on Pike County Road 255, east of Pike County Road 256 around 7:20 p.m. Troopers say a man was going west on 255, attempting stunts and going too fast, when he lost control of the 2018 Yamaha motorcycle he was driving and sideswiped a parked vehicle. The motorcycle went off the right side of the road, striking a parked trailer.
The driver of the motorcycle, 20-year-old Teven Blackwell, of Troy, Mo., was ejected in the process. He was pronounced dead at Pike County Memorial Hospital.
