Mental health art exhibit on display in downtown Bryan
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - A young artist is expressing her passion for mental health through her artwork.
Abigail Quinn has 14 original pieces on display at the gallery inside the Parker-Astin.
The name of the exhibit is “Healing Visions” and is an interpretation by Quinn of the healing process of mental health issues.
The exhibit features mending, confrontation and growth as three sections of the healing process.
Quinn says it was very self-reflecting when she was creating the artwork for the exhibit.
“It was a really interesting process going through each stage and having to revisit these memories both good and bad when creating these pieces.”
“Healing Visions” closes Friday at 9:30 p.m. inside of the Parker Astin in downtown Bryan.
