BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) -The summer Museum Trail is back, highlighting many museums across the Brazos Valley.

Nicole Cross with the Brazos Valley Museum Collective said the event’s goal is to encourage education throughout the summer and inspire residents to learn about the community’s history.

“We really want to highlight all of the great museums in the area, we have so many here in BCS but we have even more beyond,” Cross said. “There’s even some, where, you can hit all the museums and galleries around A&M and make a whole day around it,” Cross said.

There is also a giveaway on Labor Day for those participating in the museum trail.

“Just to enter all you have to do is scan a QR code that’s posted in the museums, fill out a couple of questions, and then you are entered in to win and if you visit six or more even better, that’s how we really try to get people to win the raffle,” Cross said.

Cross said they hope to continue the museum trail for years to come.
