Homicide detectives investigating after missing man found dead in his truck
ATLANTA (WANF/Gray News) - Authorities in Georgia say a missing man’s disappearance is being investigated as a homicide.
Gwinnett County police said they found the body of Guadalupe Garcia Rodriguez during the overnight hours on Wednesday in a parked pickup truck.
Officers said they were called to check the truck that was parked in the Lawrenceville area at about 12:30 a.m.
According to police, Rodriguez’s body was found inside the vehicle.
Rodriguez’s wife reported him missing on Monday. She told police that he never came home that afternoon after leaving the house in his truck.
Authorities did not immediately say how Rodriguez died but said his death is now being investigated as a homicide.
