Independence Day Parade returns to Chappell Hill for 47th year

CHAPPELL HILL, Texas (KBTX) - A parade that’s been around for over four decades is returning to Washington County.
The Chappell Hill Chamber Of Commerce is inviting the community out for its annual Independence Day Parade.
The parade will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in downtown Chappell Hill.
The theme this year is hometown heroes which honors the first responders in Chappell Hill.
There are over 50 participants in this year’s parade including the marching kid kazoo band.
