BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M baseball grad transfer Hayden Schott announced on Monday that he’s withdrawn his name from the transfer portal and returning to Aggieland.

Schott’s announcement comes after Ali Camarillo withdrew his name from the portal. Other Aggies are reportedly possibly returning after Michael Earley was announced as the head coach.

Schott had to apply for an extra year of eligibility after transferring to Texas A&M last season from Columbia as a graduate.

In his first year with the Maroon and White, Schott batted .335 with 63 RBI and 8 home runs. He played through injury during the postseason but still helped the Aggies reach the College World Series Finals for the first time in program history.
