Have the ulti-mutt summer at Waggie Pet Zone
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - There’s a camp where your child can spend the summer playing with dogs and learning about a veterinary career.
Waggie Pet Zone is offering a week-long experience for kids to have fun with some four-legged friends.
Campers will be in charge of caring for a puppy and will also learn about different careers they can have that allows them to interact with animals everyday.
Some career paths that will be discussed are dog training, dog photography, search and rescue, veterinary practices and more.
Waggie Pet Zone Manager Amanda Curtis says the camp allows kids to interact with man’s best friend differently.
“I really wanted to start it to give the kids in our community an opportunity to learn more about dogs, especially in a fun way.”
