BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Ashley K. Rodriguez-Bishop, an animal services supervisor for the City of Bryan Animal Services, was recently honored by the Texas A&M Vet School.

She received the Rising Star award for her contributions to the field of vet medicine.

This is the highest award given to Vet School alumni.

She helped better relationships between vets and shelters and provided students with learning opportunities after she graduated.
