BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Darla is the Aggieland Humane Society Pet of the Week for April 26.

She is about five years old and came in with another pet who had already been adopted. Aggieland Humane Society says when she was brought in she was just skin and bones but is now soft and chunky.

Darla loves every person and dog that she meets. She even knows some tricks such as shake.

Aggieland Humane Society has an ongoing special called “Big Dogs Big Deals.” Any pet at Aggieland Humane whose 50 pounds or more will be 50 percent off the adoption fee. The special will end Saturday at 5 p.m. Darla weighs 50.2 pounds.

The facility is located at 5359 Leonard Road in Bryan, and is open Monday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. Aggieland Humane is closed Sundays.
