BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Gus is the Aggieland Humane Society Pet of the Week on April 19.

Gus is about three years old and is a suspected American Bulldog mix.

He’s already a big boy and is expected to grow even more.

Aside from being a cuddle bug, his calm and sweet disposition makes Gus the perfect companion.

Starting Friday, Aggieland Humane is doing a “Big Dogs Big Deals” special where every dog who is fifty pounds or over has a 50 percent discount on their adoption fee.

The special runs until next Friday, and there are plenty of furry friends like Gus looking for their forever homes.

The facility is located at 5359 Leonard Road in Bryan, and is open Monday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. Aggieland Humane is closed Sundays.
