BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - From Southern Blues root-influenced country to lyrically thought-provoking songwriting, Samantha is set to release her debut album later this summer.

She says her love of music started at a young age.

“I found a pile of my dad’s records in the garage. That’s what happens when you have to do chores and that kind of kicked off things,” Samantha said.

Her musical influence comes from her upbringing which took her around the world.

“I grew up all over the United States. I was originally born in Germany, but traveling through the southeast, in the northwest and being here in Texas, it’s Americana, it’s blues, it’s soul. It crosses very many different genres.”
