BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Hazel is the Aggieland Humane Society Pet of the Week for Feb. 9th.

Aggieland Humane Society says Hazel is about a year and a half old and is believed to be an American Bulldog mix. While she has a nub as a tail, she still likes to wiggle.

Hazel came to the shelter in November as a lost pet, was adopted and then returned to the shelter at the end of January as a lost pet.

The shelter is teaming up with Best Friends Animal Society in celebration of the puppy bowl and they are doing free adoptions on all of their dogs and cats who are ready to go home from Friday until Wednesday.

Those interested in a dog can participate in a free program offered by the shelter, “Dog Day Out”, which allows them to take a dog like Hazel and spoil them for the day.

Aggieland Humane is open Monday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
