Unluckily if you book the car and you are there only one day with the cruise ship to pick up the car (no matter if with reservation or without) took more than one hour. Pros:
Totally unacceptable. I rented the car (one way) well in advance and the guy at the local Avis called me that morning (Sunday) to say they had no cars, no one had returned, and there was nothing he could do about it. I spent hours calling around my area trying to find one but it was a medical emergency, and we ended up renting an Uber, hugely expensive.Cons:
