I’m Going Braless All Summer Thanks to This Flattering, Curve-Hugging Bodysuit

Sometimes, I swear I’ve actually lost hair from the pressure and stress of picking out an outfit. And in the summer, when every fabric feels tighter, stuffier, and (after a few minutes outside) stickier, I often throw up my hands and put on the same big T-shirt and biker shorts combo sitting in the self-labeled “last resort” corner of my closet. While there’s nothing wrong with a warm-weather version of the Princess Diana ‘fit, the True & Co Body Lace Racerback Bodysuit offers me an equally comfortable, and (dare I say?) sexier version of this more casual combo. 

Available in sizes XS to XL and a black and taupe colorway, the bodysuit allows me to go bra-free (just like when I’m lounging in my oversized athleisure). Of course, comfortable bras do exist, but, honestly, nothing feels better than going commando. (Still, I’m not quite ready to bear it all Zoë Kravitz-style). The bodysuit’s wireless design, adjustable straps, and light built-in padding always ensure I’m fully covered, and supported, avoiding any awkward fashion faux-pas. Additionally, the racerback straps subtly lift my chest without restricting it, allowing my confidence to soar like a street-strutting Gigi Hadid.

The True & Co Body Lace Racerback Bodysuit’s elevated design only plays favors to my silhouette. The bodysuit skims my frame, gently holding me in like a soft hug and emphasizing my curves. Meanwhile, its silky and ultra-breathable fabric has a smoothing effect that layers seamlessly under itsy-bitsy mini skirts and form-fitting jeans. Translation: Even hunched over my computer or, more preferably, an Aperol Spritz, I look sleek and unrumpled. Its delicate lingerie-inspired lace detailing and sneaky little V-neck, which is perfect for displaying shiny accessories, are other highlights I like to show off as I shed layers. However, it’s easy to make the bodysuit a tad more modest and get away with outfit repeating several times in one week, by buttoning up a colorful blazer or cardigan.
