‘Lean luxury’ is the hook at a hip chain opening its first Irish edition in Smithfield. It takes design inspiration from the area’s markets, with rustic farm tables, horse collars, a giant strawberry sculpture, baskets and the like alongside the cocktails, self-check-in and ‘bottomless barista coffee’. Guitars are on hand to take to your room, the Hacienda bar and Oxmantown deli are nearby, and rooms range from 16 sq m ‘Nests’ to 28 sq m ‘Wows’. From €136; ruby-hotels.com/molly
